Unpacking what you’ve been through to get to where you’re going.

Gaining clarity and power over your experiences starts with a conversation.

Getting off the couch.

Counseling isn’t just sitting on a couch and talking about your problems, we do that with friends. Counseling is about processing for deeper understanding. When we find a deeper understanding we can take ownership and power over our experiences.

Specialized Areas of Counseling

Trauma

As someone who has been a frontline social worker, I’ve worked with all sorts of trauma. As a therapist, I work with other frontline workers struggling with vicarious and secondary trauma.

Grief

Grief comes in all forms and from all sorts of loss. Loss of a job, a loved one, a pregnancy, or even a hope we held. Grief is just as much about losing what we knew as much as it is about losing the future we planned.

Transition

Transitions are a “both-and” experience. They can be both scary and exciting, sad and happy, limiting and liberating. Processing transition can be an incredibly helpful part of navigating the fullness of these moments.
